Judith Hartmann

Judith is an Operating Partner at Sandbrook. Previously, she was Deputy CEO and Group CFO (2015-2022) and interim Co-CEO (2020) at Engie. She held P&L responsibility for the North American and UK/Ireland business units. She currently sits on the board of NeXtWind, as well as of Unilever and Marsh McLennan.

Prior to Engie, Judith was Group CFO at Bertelsmann (2012-2015). Prior to Bertelsmann, she spent 12 years in increasingly senior finance and operational leadership roles at GE (2000-2012) in the US, Latin America and Europe within the healthcare and energy divisions.  She began her career with The Walt Disney Company in Paris. Her previous non-executive positions include the boards of Suez, Electrabel, International Power, and Penguin Random House.

She holds a PhD in Economics (with honors) and an MBA from the WU University of Business Administration and Economics.
