Manuel Coquet

Prior to joining Sandbrook, Manuel was a managing consultant at Energy and Environmental Economics (E3) where he advised infrastructure funds and project developers in valuing and assessing assets and technologies critical to the future of energy.
Beforehand, Manuel was part of launching Centauro Energia, a renewable portfolio company for Macquarie in Mexico as its first employee and part of the management team. Within Centauro, Manuel split his time between leading commercial and business development efforts, as well negotiating and closing M&A transactions as part of the investment team.
Manuel started his career working for EnergeA, a boutique consulting firm in Mexico. At EnergeA, he advised new entrants in strategized investment opportunities in Energy as Mexico allowed for private competition for the first time with the incoming Energy Reform.
Manuel earned a BSc in Chemical Engineering at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, where he received the Gabino Barreda Medal. He also holds an MPP from University of California Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford University.
