In February 2025, Sandbrook announced the acquisition of Intellirent, the leading provider of specialized electrical testing equipment rentals for medium‐ and high‐voltage power infrastructure across North America. Intellirent plays an important role in the maintenance, commissioning, and repair work involved in the modernization and expansion of the region’s energy infrastructure. The company serves a diverse customer base, including utilities, EPC companies and electrical equipment manufacturers.

Investment Impact

Sandbrook’s investment in Intellirent reflects our core thesis that North American power grids are facing unprecedented pressure from the convergence of aging equipment, accelerating electricity demand, and increasing frequency of extreme weather events. This leads to critical needs for maintenance, repair and fortification of energy infrastructure. Through our investment, we are expanding rapid access to reliable power testing equipment, thereby helping to enable the modernization, resilience and decarbonization of energy supply in the region.
